Since joining Greene-Levin-Snyder in 2006, Jolie has placed many experienced attorneys, including associates, partners, general counsel, in-house counsel and compliance professionals in positions at AmLaw 100 law firms, boutique law firms, bulge bracket financial institutions, smaller banks, hedge funds, private equity funds and public and private corporations. She brings personal knowledge of both law firms and corporations. As such, Jolie is able to acutely evaluate an attorney's development, understand each attorney's unique goals and match each attorney with the right opportunity.
As a top recruiter, Jolie partners with candidates to assess their strengths, interests, transferable skills, experience and education to generate a personalized, targeted job search. Additionally, she provides coaching, counseling, education, guidance, strategic and tactical planning and advice, mentoring, career counseling, support and assistance with negotiating and decision making to attorneys in acquiring a new position or in exploring alternative career choices. Jolie represents law firms and corporations with their hiring needs, including conducting exclusive and co-exclusive searches for general counsel, in-house counsel and associates, performing screening interviews and assisting in hiring decisions.
Experience
Prior to joining the legal search field, Jolie practiced corporate law, specializing in M&A, Securities and Private Equity at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson and at Hogan & Hartson, LLP in New York City. Jolie was Senior Counsel for Comverse Technology, Inc., an S&P 500, NASDAQ 100 company. While practicing, Jolie actively participated in the interviewing and mentoring of law students and lateral candidates. Her expertise as a practicing associate and a member of these recruitment teams gives Jolie an in-depth appreciation and sound insight into lateral search. She is a valuable asset in the serving of our clients' requirements and candidates' ambitions.
